It made my day when I found these amazing little spring heels that are 1. super pin-up-y and 2. cost 30 doollaz! I WILL wear them with dark black tights when the weather is warmer. And they WILL hurt my feet because that's the the thing about a cheap shoe. Still, I love them.

Size Matters
I'm loving an oversized mirror nowadays, especially in a smaller space. It makes a room look so much bigger, it's le crazy! I may or may not have taken this notion to the extreme though, putting an 8 foot tall miror in my studio apartment that's as big as most women's closets. I had been dying for one though so when my wonderfully weird and crafty mother decided to destroy her walk-in closet to put a bath in her bedroom (pause for reaction), she took one of her mirror doors, added some crown moulding and ta-da! (If you try this at home, make sure you glue your sheet of miror to a peice of plywood first as they are very thin and bendy (if you know what I mean)).

Saturday Night Dino Fever!
So this past weekend I got in full party planner mode and planned my sister a dinosaur themed 25th birthday surprise party. We decked her apartment out jungle-style, dressed up as dinos, made dino-shaped food, put dino-shaped ice in our drinks and got confused between dragons and actual dinosaurs.
Everyone was so friggin helpful it turned out amazing! *pride*
Beautiful cupcakes made by Ali!
Yes they sell this.
We were all floored when our friend Ashley who 'decorates cakes as a hobby' offered to make one and it turned out like this!
Birthday girl.

Things I am obsessed with right now:
1. Finding a sexy, refreshing and fun song for un upcoming audition.
(SUGGESTIONS ANYONE!?)
2. The thought of summer and one day wearing sandals and bearing my fluo white shoulders.
3. American Idol (as per usual) and it's upcoming finale! (Haley, Haley, Haley!)
PS. Alot (3) of you have told me you can't seem to leave your lovely comments on my blog! I (my boyfriend) will get right on it! Hopefully this will be fixed asap and you can all express yourselves freely soon.

long time no blog!
Hi everyone! I haven't been very bloggy lately. 'Bad Bloggy!' *smacks her own hand* I've been pretty busy 1. being a 'successful' travel agent and 2. being sad about missing out on a huge family event. (First I'd like to congratulate my very favourite cousin on her beautiful wedding!) I remember several years ago, before she was even engaged, when she asked me to be a bridesmaid in a public bathroom on a family trip. I cried and accepted. I remember realising and announcing to her that I would not be able to make it because of work. I helped plan the bridal shower and the bachelorette and kept my spirits high! I was in full-on bridemaidzilla mode and loving it. Then on Tuesday everyone came back, tanned, with pictures, and their eyes filled with romance and memories. *sighhhhhhhhhhh* And I had a thought; you can’t know if you’re going to regret something until you actually do it.
(Then I shopped away my worries and noticed after that everything I bought had a sort of Latino flair. Coincidence? I think not.)

Cute shorts and the story of nest
Once upon a time, back when we had to go all the way to the friggin USA to shop at Forever 21, my gorgeous cousin and I took a little trip to the city that never sleeps, and waited in line a few hours to try on our future purchases. We quickly noticed the salesperson was saying the word ‘nest’ (a pocketlike, usually more or less circular structure of twigs, grass, mud, etc., formed by a bird, often high in a tree, as a place in which to lay and incubate its eggs and rear its young; any protected place used by a bird for these purposes (according to dictionary.com)), instead of ‘next’ (immediately following in time, order, importance, etc.(again according to dictionary .com)) to call over the next shopper. This was funny to us, so thus we began to replace every ‘next’ by a ‘nest’. America’s Nest Top Model, Degrassi the Nest Generation, ‘See you nest week!’, and the list goes on and on. I invite you all to try it! And also to check out these adorable little floral shorts from Forever 21 (aka where it all began)! Plus they cost nest to nothing!

So long! Until nest time!
As I am so very open to criticism...
I have changed my font to something more reader-friendly. Enjoy! And keep the feedback coming my loyal readers (ie. close family and friends)!
